In 2020, V2i was awarded ISO17025 accreditation by the Belgian Accreditation Body BELAC (666-TEST). ISO 17025 is the highest recognized quality standard in the world for testing and calibration laboratories This already demonstrated our dedication to measurements and test quality as well as our hunger for continuous improvement.
The ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation reaffirms our commitment to our customers through the highest quality of our services, precision of our measurements and qualification of our personnel.
Since May 2022, V2i has evolved from a fixed to a flexible scope of tests. This means that our expertise has been recognized and judged appropriate for us to implement any testing method in the frame of electrodynamic vibration testing. Though the requirements are even higher for this type of accreditation, it allows us to be more flexible towards the requirements of our customers.
In practice, this implies that we are no longer limited to a list of standards and methods but are now able to run accredited tests according to any new standards or customer specifications.
How does V2i serve you and your customers better under ISO17025 accreditation?
In many ways, the differences between ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 are due to the applicability of the standards. ISO 9001 is applicable to all types of companies in all industries, whereas ISO 17025 is only applicable to testing and calibration laboratories. This means that the requirements are specifically tailored to our activity.
Our accreditation provides you with the highest level of confidence in the results you receive from V2i. Some key requirements/attributes:
- Highest personnel qualification in the science of vibration testing and measurement;
- Equipment calibrated and maintained according to the highest standards;
- Assurance of the validity of our results;
- Development and continuous monitoring of measurement uncertainties;
- World-wide recognized test reports;
- And many more!
In short, we offer you and your customers the highest confidence level on our tests and results as well as world-wide recognized test reports.
